Outdoor Recreational Safety to be the Focus of QWS

For the 2017 program, the QWS Planning Committee has chosen "Safety" as this year's theme. Safety is always an essential part of planning and enjoying all types of outdoor recreation. At times, our favorite activities can seem so familiar that we never expect anything but a good time. That is the time to take a second look just to be sure that we are putting safety first.

All of our 2017 speakers will include a review of how to stay safe out there. We hope you bring home some new ideas that keep you safe where ever you go.

We have every reason to believe that QWS 2017 will set a new attendance record. Still we ask that you help us spread the word by providing a link to the QWS website and by adding our event to your calendars. See QWS Calendar Details below for a quick listing of event information.

QWS Opens Exhibitor Waiting List

Registration for the 2017 Quiet Water Symposium has closed with a capacity registration of over 150 exhibitors. Exhibitors may still register for a waiting list and will be contacted if any spaces open up due to cancellations by other exhibitors.

The Quiet Water Symposium continues to be a corner stone of the non-motorized, outdoor recreation community. We thank all those who will participate in the 2017 event and promise to do everything possible to make it a pleasure for all who attend.

QWS 2017 Registered Exhibitors

The MSU Pavilion will be wall to wall exhibits for the 2017 Quiet Water Symposium. Many of your favorites will return and there will also be some new things to see this year.

Many of our sponsors have also returned and are helping to make the event possible. We do not have a complete list yet but one sponsor does deserve special thanks. The DNR Parks & Recreation Division is our 2017 Show Sponsor. Look for their display in the Exhibit Area and thank them for their support of outdoor recreation here in Michigan.
